Getting started

The partner onboarding journey

Once you have an agreed Partner status and have returned a signed copy of the iCompleat reseller agreement to Compleat Software, you will be designated an iCompleat Partner Manager.

Your Partner Manager will arrange for you to go through the partner onboarding journey, which will fully enable your team to successfully promote, sell, implement and support iCompleat.

Your iCompleat Partner Manager will schedule these onboarding sessions and agree with you the appropriate attendees for each session.

Step 1 and Step 2 should be scheduled asap, to set up your iCompleat Partner environment and introduce all members of your team to iCompleat, which will enable you to begin undertaking each of the “Getting Started” sessions.

Step 1 - Partner set-up and induction

Who should attend - Primary partner contacts only

Session duartion - 1 hour

Pre-requisites:

  • The partner should have decided on their partner company registration name (please note that this is mentioned on all communications to partner clients)
  • The partner should know the specific email address they would like their monthly Compleat invoices to go to
  • The partner should know the specific email address they would like their monthly Compleat invoices to go to

This session will include:

  • Partner environment set-up
  • Arrangement of monthly billing
  • Introduction to key partner features
  • Introduction to the iCompleat partner portal

Partner actions following this session:

  • Set-up co-branding if desired
  • Add any sales demo companies required
  • Add all other necessary partner users

Step 2 - Product training

Who should attend - Anyone at the partner who will be interacting with iCompleat (Partner management, Marketing, Sales, Support, Implementation)

Session duration - 90 minutes

This session will include:

  • End-to-end overview of end-user product features and capabilities
  • Q&A session


Getting started with sales

Who should attend – Anyone at the partner who will be promoting, pitching, selling or demonstrating iCompleat

Session duration - 2 hours (please note that marketing should also join for the first hour).

Pre-requisites:

  • For all required sales users to have an iCompleat sales demo company set up

This session will include:

  • iCompleat market positioning
  • Key product features and benefits
  • Overview of the partner sales demonstration system
  • Key demonstration scenarios
  • Introduction to all sales resources
  • Q&A session

Getting started with marketing

Who should attend - Anyone at the partner who will be involved in marketing iCompleat.

Session duration - 1 hour

This session will include:

  • General discussion around marketing activities
  • A specific discussion around the partner's first targeted marketing activity for iCompleat

Getting started with client onboarding and support

Who should attend - Anyone at the partner who will be implementing and/or supporting the onboarding and management of iCompleat clients.

Session duration - 90 minutes

Pre-requisites:

  • Provided iCompleat access to all required support and implementation users

This session will include:

  • How to add, manage and support your iCompleat clients
  • How to provide first line support
  • Introduction to partner support tools
  • Review of support FAQ’s
  • Q&A session
